Speaking to media before the team left for Zambia, coach Isaac Samuel said they have assembled a very good squad that will not find it difficult to win the zonal qualifiers and progress to the next stage.

"Our team is strong, we have had one of the strongest volleyball teams in the region for a couple of years now and I think we are going to do well," he said.

He however added that this does not mean that they will rest on their laurels and underestimate their opponents saying they are ready for a tough competition.
